If you have been given the ability to manage your inventory, you can view this by clicking 'manage inventory' for your given product. Presently, the only way to bring inventory into the system is to use the bulk inventory feature, which is an Emersion Add-On.

Overview

The purpose of this section is to describe the operation of the Emersion Products module. The Products module provides the ability to create and manage point of sale products that you may sell in addition to, or alongside with, subscription based products services. In Emersion, a product is a non-subscription based product or service. This includes such things like:

  • physical items
  • a type of service that attracts a once-off only cost.
  • something that is purchased by a customer as either as an Outright Purchase or under an Instalment Plan
  • does not incur charges for usage.

The product management section of Emersion is where users can:

  • create new products
  • maintain general information about the product
  • view and edit product price points
  • define supply rules
  • maintain the product inventory (for serialised products)
  • set up and maintain commissions on a product - Requires a subscription to the optional Commissions module

Your Emersion subscription includes access to a library of categories, subcategories and products that are commonly offered by the telecommunications and managed services market. Feel free to use them instead of feeling the need to creating your own and create duplication. If you buy products from a wholesale service provider who also uses Emersion, you may see products from them as well. Just be mindful that where another account is listed as the category, subcategory or product owner, you cannot modify these products directly.

The Products module is a standard core module of the Emersion system. Staff users with Admin Full Powers or Base Powers will be automatically granted the ability to the Product menu items in Cumulus where you can create and manage your product library or catalogue.
