On 17 November, The latest version of our platform to the public was released. Below is a list of changes.
New Features / Optional Modules
Auto-Payment Deactivation Notification event
In the last release, Emersion provided a new event that will send a notification when an automated payment method is enabled for an account. This new sister event will notify users when the automated payment method is set to disabled.
In the last release, Emersion provided a new event to notify end users when the payment method on the account was enabled.
Service Type Changes
Telstra WME
A new service feature for International Roaming has been introduced with automated provisioning. Custom events send a message to the end user when the feature is activated and deactivated.
Ability to configure International Roaming service feature after the service is active (under Service Subscription > Configuration) is now controlled by a power.
AAPT – Bandwidth
A new service type exists for AAPT Data allowing service providers who buy an allotment of bandwidth to on-sell it as pre-allocated data packs.
AAPT NWB
The AAPT integration to AAPT’s FrontierLink system now uses the combined address / fnn based service qualification as a default.
Optus Mobile
Optus MURTL data added to bolt on view usage within the user portal and Cumulus on services that are of type 'Optus Mobile' and where a MURTL feed exists.
Enhancements – Optional Modules
Bolt-on Add-ons
A significant number of enhancements have been made to bolt-on add-ons, including:
Ability to auto-order, re-order and provision when an underlying bolt-on or bolt-on add-on is exhausted.
Bolt-on add-ons now support rate overrides.
Bolt-On Add-Ons can now be defined with a bonus allocation. The Bonus will be used before the main allocation. This is already available within bolt-ons, but the introduction of this feature to bolt-on add-ons bring greater consistency in behaviour between the two objects.
The Packages and Plans > Management > Service Plan > Bolt On Configuration screen has undergone a UI overhaul making it more user-friendly.
Products
Emersion now supports the ability to apply a setup fee to product purchase instalment.
Shift Inventory Owner – This new import tool moves a product instance from one child account to another.
Xero Integration
The Xero Integration has been extended to support public authentication for one-time transactions.
Emersion have also added improved account associations
Emersion API
New 'DoesUserExist' method added to the UserPortal API.
In the CreateAccount/UpdateAccount method:
- CumulusUser is no longer mandatory. - PhoneNumber input now maps to Primary Landline Number, not Preferred Phone Number
Orders
Emersion now supports ‘pay now’ and ‘pay later’ business rules for product purchases made in the order process. This also applies to the new set up fee for an instalment purchase. Configuration for this will be available via the Product Order Map in a future release. Contact Support if you are interested in this feature.
Added a power to bypass the requirement to upload a document during the hundred point check.
Enhancements – General
These enhancements are provided as part of base platform and are included as per your maintenance fees
Further modifications and enhancements to the new pricing book structure.
Products can now support both negative and fractional quantities. To be able to have fractional quantities for a product, a product must have the Allow Fraction in Quantity flag enabled.
Emersion have added a feature to allow provisioning processes to be skipped for automated provisioning outcomes. Note this is for Administrators only. Contact Emersion Sales for more information.
Search and selecting a product instance from the product inventory during the order process has undergone a major revamp with a new stock picker.
Emersion has improved the View Usage pages within the End User Portal and Cumulus to better present usage for data services.
Standard Invoice Template configuration now allow the cheque payable name to be an optional field and we have added a new field for name on card.
The End User Portal logo now displays on both the log in page and main page.
Removed the ability to delete account security deposit cardlines from UI.
UI improvements have been made when creating and editing account securities.
Enhancements have been made to the account summary page and detail page to increase performance.
Users NOT IN the org unit now shows the users in alphabetical order so users can find and add them to the org unit more easily.
In the Contract Configuration and the Cancel/Migrate sub tabs of a service subscription, related purchases indicator (text) informs users of related purchases existing so that can be addressed before changes are made to the subscription.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where the receipt of a payment created an unnecessary offset and unallocated payment entries.
Fixed an issue inside the bulk import framework causing the override email address to be ignored.
Fixed a bug where a new product rate card could not be saved.
Fixed a bug in the Unallocated Payments Search list.
Fixed an issue when mapping a Pricing Book to stop the list of available Pricing Book have double entries.
Fixed a problem within migrations where the Service Feature Subscriptions on the old subscription is preactive, they are not aborted.
Fixed a browser bug that sent users back to the Dashboard screen when clicking on the Service Subscription ID on the Service Subscriptions tab.
Fixed a bug where unexpected payments were coming through xero interface.
Fixed an issue preventing Organisation accounts from being able to select from the defined products within the service order process.
Fixed a bug on the Product Management page causing the ‘Download results as CSV' hyperlink to fail.
Fixed a bug on the Manual Batch Payment page causing it to not show due invoices.
Fixed some cross-browser compatibility issues with the TinyMCE HTML Editor (used in Events > Templates).
Fixed an issue preventing custom messages in the standard invoice template configuration were not being used on the invoice when it was rendered.
Fixed a bug that meant the terms and conditions for payment terms did not require the user to scroll down before the ‘accept’ checkbox is enabled.
