Usage Collection

For usage collection of CTOP, COCE and CDCE files we require:

  • The AAPT FTP hostname
  • The AAPT ftp username
  • The AAPT ftp password.

We must be listed on AAPT's inner and outer firewalls in order for us to access usage records. Typically Emersion is already listed on the outer firewall, but we must be listed on the inner firewall also.

Provisioning

Provisioning of new AAPT rebill services is performed in Emersion via the manual provisioning process.

In order to leverage the automatic provisioning of an AAPT Rebill PSTN Product, Emersion submits an activity file to AAPT. This contains all of the churn requests. AAPT demands that the activity file name be formatted in a specific way for each of our customers. For that to occur, Emersion need the your AAPT Rebill supplier key.

For a full service churn, the beginning of the file name looks like this: DPLTPWTF.  Part of this is often an abbreviation of the service provider's company name. Emerison cannot submit activity files to AAPT in the correctly formatted file name pattern without knowing the supplier key.

Please note that unless you guarantee with AAPT a set volume of churns, AAPT may not set up this automated churn provisioning method. Instead they may require you use FrontierWeb to carry out the provisioning. If this is your arrangement with AAPT, you will not be able to automatically provision a Churn. Instead, you must activate churned services manually in Emersion.
