Managing Commissions
The main screen lists all commissions that have been recorded and calculated by the Emersion system for all Agents.
Filters are provided to enable quick search and retrieval of commissions that you are interested in. You can filter by:
- Agent account number
- Agent account name
- These return commissions for a given Agent
- Model ID – returns the commissions for a particular product, package plan, service plans, service feature or bolt-on
- Model – Returns the commissions for all products, package plans, service plans, service features or bolt-ons
- Status – Returns commissions based on their status
- Created
- Processed
- Withdrawn

The Commission Management section is split into three tabs:
- Bounties
- Trails
- Product Sales
Users can also use the Export to CSV function for use in a spreadsheet or database program.
Where possible, Emersion provides hyperlinks to relevant information so you can access more detailed information easily. For example:
- clicking on the Model ID of a commission entry on the bounties or trails tab, will take the user to the package plan, service plan, bolt-on or service feature for which the commission was for.
- clicking on the source cardline of a commission entry on the bounties or trails tab, will take the user to the cardline on the customer’s account for which the commission was for.
Commissions Actions
This section details how commissions can be treated based on their status.
Created but not able to be processed
When a commission entry is first generated via the submission of an order, or by a product purchase, the commission will be in a status of created. Clicking on the View Details icon will show the user more detailed information on business rules that have yet to be met before the commission can be processed.
For these commissions, users can:
- withdraw the commission
- delete the commission
Note: If you delete a commission, this action cannot be undone and Emersion cannot help you. Please use caution.
Created and ready to be processed
When the business rules have been satisfied, the system will display the commission in a a status of created but with additional actions available. Clicking on the View Details icon will show the user that the business rules have been met as shown below.
For these commissions, users can:
- withdraw the commission
- process the commission
- delete the commission
Upon processing the commission, the status will change to Approved. Upon withdrawing the commission, the status will change to Withdrawn.
Note: If you delete a commission, this action cannot be undone and Emersion cannot help you. Please use caution.
Commissions that have been withdrawn
Withdrawn commissions can to be retrieved via the search criteria. Once a commission has been withdrawn, no actions are available to the user.
Commissions that have been processed
Processed commissions can to be retrieved via the search criteria. Once a commission has been processed, no actions are available to the user.
Commissions that have been deleted
There is no way to retrieve deleted commission records. Do NOT use the delete function unless you are certain you want to delete the commission. If you accidentally delete a commission entry, Emersion cannot assist you with retrieving the record.
