Overview

This page provides a way for users to override the default setting for the service plan access fee. Any access fee price override will only apply to the single service subscription. If you use package plan access fees, any rate override entered here will have no effect. Access Fees on a package plan override the equivalent fees on the service plan. In order for Service Plan Access Fee Override to be effective, access fees set against packages should be removed.

Whether or not users can add a service plan access fee override will depend on:

  • the setting being enabled in the Service Plan. The configuration of the service plan must include ticking the option This Service Plan supports per subscription access fee overrides.
  • the user has the relevant powers (see the 'Access Controls' section of this page).

To access this screen users have one of two pathways:

Nav: Customer > List

  1. Click on the ID of a customer to open the customer record.
  2. Click the Service Subscription tab to open the customer's service subscription.
  3. Click on the Access Fee Overrides tab.

Alternatively, users can:

Nav: Services > List All

  1. Click on the Service ID or Service Subscription ID link to open the customer's service subscription.
  2. Click on the Access Fee Overrides tab

Add an Access Fee Override

To add an access fee override:

  1. Click the Add Access Fee Override button.
  2. On the right-hand side, enter the override information. The End Date can be used to automatically revert the customer back to the default service plan access fee after the date given in this field.
  3. Press Submit to save the changes.

Once it is saved, the product rate override can be seen in the table of this page.

Access Controls

There are two powers governing access. These can be found by drilling down into the powers as follows:

Powers: Plan Management > Plan Service Management > Manage Plan Service Advance Config

View Service Access Fee Override

grants the user a read-only view of the service plan access fee overrides.

Edit Service Access Fee Override

grants the user full access to create and edit service plan access fee overrides.
