Orders That Use Address-Based Qualification
Service qualifications (SQ) are a step in the Ordering process for some automated service types in the telecommunications industry. This step is designed to ascertain if the service is available and can be used by End User.
Some service types such as:
- AAPT National Wholesale Broadband Layer 2 / Layer 3
- NBN Wireless
support or require an address-based service qualification (SQ) is performed, as opposed to an SQ using an full national number (FNN).
This page compares the two SQ methods
Service Qualification by FNN
To perform a service qualification using the FNN, select FNN from the options and enter the FNN.
Address-based Service Qualification
To perform a service qualification using address, enter as much of the address as you can. Partial searches are available, however the more information you can provide the faster the SQ will be.
If you enter a partial address, the system will return all matched. You may need to drill down and refine your results until you can choose the address you are attempting to return an SQ result for.
Press Proceed when you are ready to progress
Once you have found the address, select it and Proceed
The result will be displayed on the following screen.
