Introduction

Package Catalogues and Package Groups:

• allow users of Wholesale Service Providers the power to sell only specific packages to specific Service Providers.
• allow users of Retail Service Providers the power to sell only specific packages to specific Agents.

This section pertains to a Retail Service Provider use of the package catalogue only. If you wish to learn more about use of the Package Catalogue for Wholesale Service Providers, see this article.

The Package Catalogue provides the ability for Retail Service Providers to restrict what package plans are displayed to either an Agent or certain Staff users based on their role. When this is used, the Agent or staff member will only be able to order or migrate services to whcuh they have been granted access.

Enabling the feature

In order for the Retail Service Provider to use this functionality, it must first be enabled by Emersion. If you are interested in subscribing to this feature, please ^^^^contact sales^^^^. Upon subscription, Emersion will enable the feature to users of the Admin FULL POWERS role group.

Once the feature is enabled, you may need to grant access to other users. Edit any role groups that need access to grant packages to users and Agents based on roles by turning on the following Base Powers, based on the level of access required:

• Package Plans (parent power that enables/disables access to the Packages & Plans menu item in the navigsation bar.
• Can Access Package Catalog Role - Grants read only access to the package catalogue role list
• Can View Package Catalog Role - Grants read/update access to the package catalogue role list
• Can Edit Package Catalog Role - grants access to read abd update package catalogue role details, including linking and unlinking
