How to reconcile Emersion’s invoice to you
In order to assist you to reconcile Emersion’s periodical invoices to you, we provide the following reports and tools. If you have any further enquiries regarding your Emersion invoice, please log in to the EME Support portal and raise an Accounts ticket so we can assist.
You will need your Cumulus login and appropriate permissions. See your Software Administrator if you do not have access.
Monthly Service Usage Fees for SMS Events System Reconciliation
Used for:
- Checking the Number of SMS’s sent during a Calendar Month
Navigate Reports > List > Finance
- Look for the Events SMS sending log. It is a report showing SMS Messages that are generated by System Events including Event Type.
- Select the date range using the filters
- Click the Search button.
- Take note of the total number of transaction which is the number of SMS events.
- The charge is calculated based on the total number of SMS’s and multiplied by the transactions fee according to each monthly transaction range. If you do not know what the transaction ranges are, these can be found in your Emersion Customer Agreement.
Alternatively, you can use the Summary of SMSs sent
Navigate Reports > List > Finance
- Look for the Using Summary of SMSs Sent. It is a report showing a month by month summary of SMSs sent by System Events
- Select Filter by month on the period.
- Click the Search button.
- A number of SMS messages sent is showing for each month.
Monthly Services Usage Fees for Billed Revenue Reconciliation
Used for:
- Checking the amount of any Billed Revenue through the systems during the period (Calendar Month)
- Amount of any Billed Revenue is calculated based on the total amount of invoices approved in the corresponding Month.
- Using Billed Revenue by invoice Approval Date.
Navigate Reports > List > Finance
- Look for the Billed Revenue By invoice Approval Date report.
- Select Report date as the end date of the month.
- This shows the total amount for any billed revenue through the systems up to last 12 months.
Alternatively, you can use the Invoice List
Navigate: Finance > Accounts Receivable > Invoice list
- Filter the date period
- Set the Approved from to be the first day of the month
- Set the Approved to to be the last day of the month
- Click the Search button.
- Navigate to the final page in the list
- Take note the total of the Current Charges Column.
