Services/Service Identifier Management

Overview

Service identifiers are used to identify services, or a component of a service. Many service types have only a single identifier to identify the service. A home telephone line foe example, will adopt the resident's phone number as the service identifier. Other service types are more complex, using multiple service identifiers to identify an entire service, or part of a service.

Service identifiers vary across different types of services but they all contain the following characteristics:

1. They are unique to a service type. 2. They may or may not be used to identify usage.

Emersion will enable the service identifier management module allowing service providers to enter and track service identifiers. Since not all service types require this, it is enabled only on an as-needed basis. Shouls you require access to manage multiple service identifiers for a service, please contact Emersion Sales.
