Permissions Management
Cumulus has two sophisticated permission management systems that are presently in use to control what your staff can and cannot do.
The two systems are;
- Module access management - Power framework
Module access management
The module access management interface is designed to be a high level restrictive function which stops entire sections of the system being available, and operational level restrictions. It is the older permission framework that exists in the system, and as new functionality is created in the system, the module access system will be strictly for accessibility type functions.
Power Framework
Powers are a hierarchical organised set of permissions - which are finer grained more operation level set of controls. They are designed to the lesser permission will be lower down in the permission tree.
