Why is my bolton not rating
- You may have found yourself in a situation where the tariff you have set on your bolton is not rating as you have expected. Some possible reasons for this as follows.
- Here is an approach to investigate.
- Examine the usage against the bolton and the tariff it is rated against.
- Examine the tariff that your bolton is using.
- If the tariffs are different this could be the cause.
- If the tariff on the bolton is the parent of the tariff against the usage then;
- Check the rate card:
If the rate is set at only the parent level, and not the child tariff which is against the usage, the bolton will not come into force. This is something specific to Boltons. You will need to set a rate on the child bolton.
- After which, assuming your invoice is still pending you may rerate and the bolton should come into effect.
