Overview
The Supply Rules tab of the product details screen is used for Products/Serialised_Products/serialised products that are using the product inventory. If the product is not serialised, this feature does not apply.
The purpose of the Supply Rules sub tab is to gives service providers:
- the ability to set a minimum stock level.
- to on the Products which have a minimum stock level set and/or are flagged for Back Order.
Setting the minimum stock level allows an notification to be sent to a nominated recipient should the number of product instances that are HELD in the inventory drop to the number defined in the Minimum Stock Levels field.
Setting the back order flag allows this information to be extracted in a report.
Editing the Product Supply Rules
Nav: Product > Product Management > Product Details > Supply Rules
- Click the Edit button to put the page into edit mode.
- Set the values on the page
- Press Save to save the changes.
Minimum Stock Level Event
As with all events, the eventAvailable Stock Below Minimum Level needs an event template and the event needs to be enabled before a notification can be sent. Please refer to the links at the bottom of this page if you need assistance with Events and Event templates.
