Products (and Point Of Sale)

The Products module provides the ability to create and manage point of sale products that you may sell in addition to, or along with your subscription based products and services. Within the Emersion system, a product is not subscription based. This rule is only broken when talking about service features which are a special kind of product in Emersion. However when thinking and using products in Emersion, you can think of products as:

• physical items
• something that attracts a once-off cost.
• something that is purchased outright or via instalments
• does not charge for usage.

The Create Purchase function allows you to sell the products to customers either as an Outright Purchase, or under an Installment Plan that can then be invoiced to the customer immediately or at the end of the billing period. You can also view and manage customer purchases.

The Product Pricing module allows you to update the price points of existing products, as well as keep a history of product pricing over time.
