Functions that are limited are primarily around ordering services and product purchases. Cannot order services.

|5 ||Suspended ||Limits access to some functions for the customer, but preserving its content and configuration. Can be done by either the parent service provider or by automated means. Cannot order services.

= Overview =
The infrastructure module is designed for carrier-level service providers who are managing their own network and infrastructure. This optional module provides a way for these service suppliers to store, manage and track hardware assets and then use the information within the GNAF address data set to determine the availability of technologies in the areas where they are expanding into.

Storing and managing the infrastructure in Emersion gives the ability Retail Service Providers to perform a service qualification on any GNAF address, and return a result based on the availability of the technology as determined in the infrastructure's status.

Users of this module need:
* moderate technical competency in networking at a carrier level

When Shared Cap is enabled, the system will locate other service subscriptions which have periods which end on the same day, and also have Shared Cap enabled and any remaining excess quota that remains can be used to absorb the cost of any other services which have gone into excess.

If you wish to maintain multiple pools of plans which are grouped together, simply use the 'Group Key' as a way to do this. The system will only group subscriptions together if they share a Group Key.

If you are sharing only on Tariff and the call cost is the same you can convert the Units required i.e. 1,000 @ $0.40 per call to $400 allowance and the nett effect will be the same. You can still name you plan 'includes 1,000 mobile calls' or what you wish.

In this section, you can configure up to 4 included value options for a service plan, although by default, a single slot is provided.

A 'slot' maps a single included value option on a service plan to the tariffs in the rate card for inclusion under the included value arrangement. This is needed so that the system knows what usage is considered to be 'included value' and which is not. These slots also correspond to the slot selections within the Rate Card manager where tariffs are assigned to a slot.

With subscription-based services, it is very common to see a subscription include a limited (or unlimited) amount of value of whatever service that is being offered. This is commonly referred to as 'Included Value'.

Examples of included value might be:

* A mobile subscription with $300.00 worth of Australian calls
* A 4G service with up to 3GB of data a month
* A mobile subscription with 500 SMS/MMS per month.
* unlimited texting
* A subscription to cloud storage with 1TB of storage

In Emersion, the included value features provides a way for service providers to offer their customers a plan with a single included value option. The type of value that can be included can be:
* dollar
* kilobytes
* units
* seconds (converted to HH:MM:SS when presented to users)

For example, a plan can be set up to include:

* a mobile phone service with $300.00 worth of calls within Australia; OR
* an ADSL service that includes up to 50GB of data a month; OR
* 500 SMS/MMS per month.

== Single vs Multiple Included Value ==

By default, all Emersion clients can set up a plan with a ''single'' included value amount. A single amount of a single type can be configured per plan. <br />

With subscription-based services, it is very common to see a subscription include a limited (or unlimited) amount of value of whatever service that is being offered. This is commonly referred to as 'Included Value'.

Examples of included value might be:

In Emersion, the included value features provides a way for service providers to offer their customers a plan with a single included value option. The type of value that can be included can be:

= Overview =
End Users can apply cost centres to their own services (Service Subscriptions) via the End User Portal if the service provider wants to enable it. This feature has a number of prerequisites:

* The service provider has an active End User Portal.
* The service provider has a subscription to the [[Cost_Centres|Cost Centre]] module that includes enabling this feature on their End User Portal(s).
* The End User has been [[Account_Management/Customer_Screen/Portal|granted a login]] to the End User portal.
* The service provider has set up cost centre types for the customer, or has cost centre types that are set up for global use.

End users cannot apply cost centres to:

* Package subscriptions
* Cardlines

This can only be done by users of Cumulus.

For assistance on performing the prerequisites tasks, please refer to the [[Cost_Centres|Cost Centre help]] section. If your organisation has subscribed to the Cost Centre module, but your end users cannot see the Cost Centre sub tab in the End User Portal, please raise a ticket with Emersion Support. This feature is not enabled automatically.

End users can apply a cost centre to a service (Service Subscription) by logging into the end user portal then clicking the '''Services''' tab.

The end user will then be presented with a list of their services. To apply a cost centre to a service:

# Click '''Edit''' to put the page into EDIT mode.

Emersion intends to eventually replace the Emersion Wiki where our documentation is presently published and has commenced migrating the content from the wiki to this knowledge base. [https://resources.emersion.com https://resources.emersion.com].

With this knowledge base that seamlessly integrates with the Emersion Service Desk, users of Emersion will be able to gain faster access to a solution and relevant search results helping you solve issues faster than before. A new custom stand-alone application has been developed that will eventually be used as a 'Single Sign On' to multiple Emersion applications.

In this initial deployment, it is being used to secure the new Emersion Knowledge Base. Just like the this Wiki, users need to authenticate using their ''Cumulus login'' to gain access to the knowledge base.

Users wanting to bookmark the Emersion Knowledge Base can create a bookmark directly.
